Day-to-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Windhoek
[1 Night]
Welcome to Windhoek, Namibia's capital city nestled between the Khomas Highlands and the Auas Mountains. A charming mix of African and European influences, the city offers vibrant markets, colonial-era architecture, and friendly people.
After landing at Hosea Kutako International Airport, you’ll be transferred to the city where your fully equipped 4x4 camping vehicle and travel documents await. ​

Day 2–3: Sossusvlei
2 Nights
Your journey begins as you head south toward the desert landscapes of Sesriem. Along the way, you’ll traverse the scenic Spreetshoogte or Remhoogte Pass, offering spectacular views of Namibia’s escarpment and desert plains. The route winds through farmlands and open landscapes until you reach the iconic red sands of the Namib Desert.

An early morning start on Day 3 ensures you catch the soft light of sunrise over the dunes of Sossusvlei. Highlights include climbing Dune 45, visiting the eerie white clay pan of Dead Vlei, and admiring Big Daddy and Elim Dune. Explore the Sesriem Canyon on your return.​​

Day 4–5: Swakopmund & Walvis Bay
[2 Nights]
On Day 4, drive west across dramatic desert landscapes; traversing the Tropic of Capricorn, Gaub and Kuiseb Canyons, and the vast Namib gravel plains. Stop at the quirky town of Solitaire, take in the surreal Moon Landscape, and enjoy a glimpse of the Atlantic Ocean as you descend to the coastal town of Swakopmund.​​ Spend Day 5 soaking up the unique charm of Swakopmund and nearby Walvis Bay. Choose from a wide range of thrilling adventure activities, including Sandwich Harbour one of Namibia’s most remote and breathtaking destinations.

Day 6 – 7: Spitzkoppe
[2 Nights]
Drive north inland to Spitzkoppe, a granite mountain range rising dramatically from the plains. Known as the "Matterhorn of Namibia," this iconic area offers a remote escape into nature’s silence and beauty. Its dramatic rock formations and open desert terrain make it a paradise for stargazers and adventurers alike.
Spend your time discovering Spitzkoppe’s rugged geology, ancient San rock art, and natural arches. With no light pollution, nights here are spectacular for stargazing, and the peaceful isolation makes it perfect for relaxation.

Day 8–9: Damaraland
[2 Nights]
Travel onward into the heart of Damaraland, a land of rugged mountains, ancient rock formations, and desert-adapwildlife. Along your route, pass by the striking Brandberg Mountain, the Burnt Mountain, and Petrified Forest.
On the second day, join a guided safari in the Hoanib River area, tracking Namibia’s desert-adapted elephants. These resilient giants navigate some of the country’s toughest conditions. Expect awe-inspiring landscapes, wildlife sightings, and lunch in the wild.

Day 10: Etosha West
[1 Night]
Depart from the wilds of Damaraland and head northeast to Etosha National Park. The drive takes you through changing landscapes from rugged mountains to mopane woodlands, as you make your way to one of Africa’s premier wildlife destinations. Enter Etosha through the western Galton Gate and begin your wildlife adventure en route to your campsite.

Day 11–12: Etosha East
[2 Nights]
On Day 11 you will cross Etosha from west to east, stopping at a number of waterholes that attract wildlife. A full-day self-drive safari with lunch at one of the rest camps or a picnic stop. Day 12 ,Spend your last full day game viewing in eastern Etosha and the adjacent Onguma Reserve. Onguma covers 34,000 hectares and is home to plains game, predators, and over 300 bird species.

Day 13: Windhoek
[1 Night]
Today marks the end of your journey. Make your way south through Namibia’s open roads back to Windhoek where you return your vehicle and prepare for departure.
